But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved). Ephesians 2:4-5

Biking the Trail
This morning, Will and Sue met us at the Tridge for a bike outing on the Pere Marquette rail trail. As we started, we commented how thankful we were that it was overcast with a nice breeze. Well, ten miles later when we turned around to head back to Midland, the sun had emerged in all its glory, and our cool breeze was now working against us. At least for Sue and me, the return trip was a test of endurance. We had a great time though, and it was interesting to see so many other bikers using the trail. Over lunch, we all agreed that we most definitely fit into the category of recreational (as opposed to serious) bikers. Among other reasons, we just don't have the right clothing. ;)
