To some we might be described as a small church, but I think of our congregation as a big family. I am thankful for the many ways our congregation freely demonstrates the love of Christ to one another, from prayer support to acts of benevolence. What a blessing to be part of the family of God!
Another reason I appreciate our church is for the spiritual unity of the body. John MacArthur says that in order for our worship to go high, we must go deep, meaning we must plumb the deep things of Scripture. I am thankful that we are united by the doctrines of grace and have a desire to grow in our understanding of God's character and His redemptive plan through the study of His Word.
