Alaska Cruise: Day Four

Joel and I set the alarm for 5:00 a.m. on the Monday morning, so we would be on deck by 6:00 a.m. for the four hour cruise in the Tracy Arm Fjord, south of Juneau.  Words cannot adequately described the majestic beauty of that area.  To be surrounded by ice-capped mountains, waterfalls, and icebergs on which numerous harbor seals were sunny themselves was an amazing experience!  And the conditions happened to be just right for our ship to go far enough into the fjord to get a close view of one of the Sawyer glaciers. (Click on the pictures to enlarge.)

Enjoying the views!
