Love to Cook Club

Historically, Bay City has been know for its three B's - bars, bowling, and bingo.  But as time goes on, our city is becoming known in Mid-Michigan for its hometown restaurants and boutiques. Last night the Love to Cook club met at Nino's Italian restaurant for dinner.   I've only eaten there four times, and I have always had good food until last night.  Maybe it was because I ordered off the Weight Watchers menu...not a wise choice.  

But after dinner, we went a few blocks down the street for a truffle demonstration and sampling at Lindsay Truffler, a relatively new business in Bay City.  The dark chocolate truffles filled with flavored ganache were amazing!  Forget about the mediocre pasta...the evening ended on a very sweet and satisfying note!
