We had a ladies' outing this afternoon to a local farm called The Lavender Fleece. They raise Icelandic Sheep and Icelandic Sheepdogs, along with a variety of other animals. The wool is cleaned, carded, and spun on site. They use the lavender to produce many food and aromatic items, which are sold in their farm store. I just loved the whole farm setting, especially all the purple!
