But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved). Ephesians 2:4-5

Cat Herder
Yep...that's my new responsibility. Phoebe and Beatrice started out as house cats, and technically they still are, but we have a summer ritual...outdoor play time. Just about every day, we take the "girls" out for about ten or fifteen minutes so they can commune with nature. Beatrice always heads for the "jungle" of hosta lilies, while Phoebe prefers to roam the open range and chase whatever flying creatures can be detected with her acute senses. If that doesn't work out, Beatrice is an easy target. My job is to keep them herded in the west side of the back yard. There is a hole in the east side fence just large enough for them to slip through, and the neighborhood does NOT need an encore performance of me chasing an escapee. ; )
