It's been almost a week since I last posted, and it appears Ashlea might be presently out-posting me...which is not a good sign. I could say my excuses are that I've been busy doing other things like Christmas shopping and baking. Another reason though is that my internal clock is so messed up right now that I've been regularly waking up at 3:30 a.m. (even before Phoebe wakes me up), so I'm pretty worthless after supper, with no mental energy left to write. I had a good nap this afternoon, so here's my offering for today...
At work on Friday, I discovered that what I thought to be common knowledge about attaching Christmas ornaments...the ones with the wire inserts on the top that you can squeeze and remove...might not be common knowledge at all. In fact, it seems I might be in the distinct minority in my belief that the ornaments were designed that way, so the wires could be removed, put around the tree branch, then reinserted in the ornament...no ornament hooks needed. While I now prefer to use ornament hooks, I was raised attaching ornaments using that method on prickly cedar Christmas trees...ouch! Maybe we didn't know ornament hooks had been invented, or maybe they were deemed to be a luxury we could do without. Anyway, Joel and Ty also think I'm really out there on this one, so I'd like some confirmation...if there is any to be had...that other people also know about the wire insert attachment method of ornaments. ;)
Sorry, girl. Never heard of this one. One vote for Joel and Tyler.
