- some groceries - Ashlea is actually planning to cook a meal for us! (She claims to be a good cook now, but I still have vivid memories of her impossible - as in to mess up - cheeseburger pie.)
- a few games (for her entertaining endeavors)
- kitchen pans (see above)
- goodie basket containing...well, goodies. I don't want to give everything away : )
- a black beaded shawl from India (I couldn't resist.)
- a few more books, including the 1948 illustrated Divine Comedy
- birthday presents (at this point still unwrapped and may remain that way)
- and last, but not least...homemade chocolate malted cookies made with Ghirardelli chocolate chips, currently in the freezer... I think. (I will always have last year's Christmas non-cookie experience hanging over my head.)
