But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved). Ephesians 2:4-5

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The Kansas State football program is giving its female fans an opportunity to learn the basics of college football straight from the Wildcat coaching staff.
Head coach Ron Prince announced Saturday that the K-State coaching staff will host a specially designed clinic for the women of the Wildcat nation on Friday, Aug. 25, from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Vanier Sports Complex.
The clinic, entitled Football 101 for Women, is intended to provide a comfortable setting for women to learn the basics of college football.
Coach Prince and his staff will guide participants through the strategies of offense, defense and special teams, explain the rules of the game and the signals use by Big 12 officials and discuss the equipment the players wear on game day.
The clinic will also provide participants with several interactive learning opportunities, including on-the-field demonstrations.
The registration fee to attend K-State's Football 101 for Women clinic is $50 and includes a souvenir bag with exclusive gifts for the participants, a certificate of completion, a Football 101 team photo, complimentary cocktails and appetizers.
Space in Football 101 for Women will be limited to the first 100 registrants. Participants must be at least 18 years of age to attend.
To register for Football 101 for Women, please contact Director of Football Administration Abby Boustead in the K-State football office at (785) 532-6830.
Found your blog through football 101, which I will be attending tomorrow. I wish you could go to, sounds like there might be kind of carpooling issue or I would volunteer to give you a lift. (insert smile) What sparks your interest in KSU football so far away? I work for a small paper and cover sports and also have a daughter attending, as a freshman walk-on for track and field. Blessings, Shari I will also post my article on 101 on my blog hopefully with some pictures. Living vicariously and all...
Football 101 was already sold out when I read about it, and I live about 900 miles away, so that's a bit of a problem. My husband and I are native Kansans, KSU alumni, and former football season ticket holders (until we moved to Michigan). I'll be looking for the articles and pictures! By the way, I love Brian Regan too!
I was raised in Concordia, my husband in Atwood (elementary school) then Concordia. We lived in Hutchinson for 12 years before moving to Michigan. We would love to live in Manhattan again someday!
Mommy dearest, you are now tagged.
