Today was freshmen orientation day at Northwood University, and Tyler sure is glad that's over for the rest of his life. He's not much for meetings (big waste of his time), so this day was a definite test of his patience. He survived with a little encouragement from Mom. : ) During the scholarship recipients' meeting this evening, students were asked to stand if they had any mock trial experience, then Ty was chosen to make a statement about his experience. The look on his face was priceless as the professor handed him the microphone to explain to hundreds of people that his experience was limited to his government class. That seemed be the case for the rest of the students; unless of course, they weren't willing to 'fess up for fear of the microphone. I think he learned an important freshman lesson tonight - don't stand to acknowledge anything!
