Tyler received notification yesterday that he has been admitted to Camp Barakel's lifeguard training camp in mid-August. One of the certification requirements is to be able to swim 500 yards (the length of five football fields for those of you in Rio Linda, as Rush would say), so Ty decided to begin training in our pool. Let's see...1500 ft. divided by 32 ft....that's only 46.875 laps, not to mention a whole lot of turning! : )
