But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved). Ephesians 2:4-5

SPROUL - ON GOD'S HOLINESS
Last week, several renowned Bible pastors/teachers were in Louisville for the Together for the Gospel Conference, a conference primarily for pastors and church leaders. Among those teachers was R.C. Sproul, who also spoke at Southern Seminary's chapel service on Wednesday. Ashlea was there, of course, and took delight in letting me know how great it was. Well, I found a way to listen to the message, and I invite you to take to time to listen by clicking here. Sproul makes the valid point that we have an epidemic of entitlement thinking toward God's mercy, so much so that we've lost our understanding of God's holiness. Our consciences have been dulled toward sin, and we are no longer even amazed by God's grace. R.C. Sproul is one of the most gifted Bible scholars of our day - you won't be disappointed.
