Tyler called last night to let us know everything is going well on the senior trip. The class toured Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown yesterday. (And I forgot to ask Ty to bring me some of their specialty chocolate-covered cherries.) He said that Jamestown got a new Godspeed, because they recently discovered the old replica was 20 feet shorter than the original. Those ships are not that large anyway, so 20 feet would make quite a difference. I get seasick just thinking about crossing the Atlantic in one!
Today, the class is in D.C. to tour the Holocaust Museum, the Bureau of Engraving, and attend an Orioles' baseball game (yawn). I asked Tyler if they had pulled any pranks yet; he said they are still in the works. I just hope the girls are prepared with a few of their own.
