Celebrating in Style

I celebrated a fifty-something birthday this weekend, and it was pretty grand!  My sister gave us tickets to see White Christmas at the Crown Uptown dinner theater in Wichita (a great production), and Joel surprised me with an overnight stay at the Castle Inn Riverside Bed & Breakfast!  We had toured this old home years ago, before the current owners invested over $2 million in refurbishments.  All I remembered about the house was that it was terribly in need a thorough cleaning!  How wonderful to see the house restored to its current magnificence!  The house is being auctioned on Monday, so it's uncertain as to whether it will continue to be an inn.  We sure hope so!
