For Father's Day

Oh, that the world would have many more fathers as depicted in this excerpt from Scottish missionary John Paton's autobiography, posted on Tim Challies' blog today...Christian fathers willing to walk the journey with their children, offering godly counsel, enveloping their children in loving embraces, and casting sustained, prayerful gazes as they part.  I'm so blessed and thankful to be married to a man who exemplifies this type of fatherly love.  Happy Father's Day, Joel!
