Hutchinson, Kansas Featured

Our former hometown, Hutchinson, Kansas, made the Pioneer Woman's home school blog!  The blog contributors toured the Underground Salt Museum and the Underground Vaults and Storage company.  I had the opportunity to go down in the mine before it was open for tourism - a very memorable experience.  It didn't take me very long to decide mining would never be for me.  I like sunlight too much...and sky...and trees...and flowers.  The constant 68 degrees wouldn't be bad though!

    I was bummed that they didn't get to eat at the Anchor.

    And I was bummed they didn't make it to the Cosmosphere! Oh, well...
