Waterfalls - Day Two

I'm so thankful we decided to check out Yahoo Falls; it was the highlight of the trip! After traveling several miles of very winding roads through the Kentucky hill country, we arrived at the secluded park. We had a short hike to the top of the falls, and the view down was breathtaking! Not much water drops over the 113 feet high ridge, and it sometimes dries up during the summer, but the area seemed like a tropical rain forest. After taking pictures over the edge, we ventured down to the base of the falls, where there is a protected area underneath the ledge. We took shelter there for a while, until an afternoon rain passed through. Click on the pictures to enlarge, and notice how small the people look in each picture.
