Joel and I used our Christmas gift money to order a Wii Fit, and it arrived yesterday. After Joel left for work this morning, I began to investigate all the fitness functions, but I first had to set up my fitness profile. My sister warned me about this and jokingly suggested I lie about my height. I should have listened to her. After inputting my data and taking the initial test, I discovered I am borderline obese, unbalanced (not in the mental sense), and have a fitness age of 65. Needless to say, the taskmaster is not concerned about building self esteem. The Wii also had the nerve to suggest I lose 25 lbs. to reduce my BMI to the ideal number. I can tell you now that the 25 lbs. is not going to happen! Later this morning, Tyler set up his fitness profile, and the Wii said he is overweight by 20 lbs.! Ouch. Ty was more perturbed than I; after all, he does Air Force fitness training several times a week. We decided their criteria is based on the Asian population, and we moved on to the fun. ; )
