We were so happy that Ashlea was able to come back to celebrate the New Year with us. I treasure our family times together, and we tried to make the most of each day. Over the course of the last week, we saw "The Blind Side" and "Sherlock Holmes," attended a Saginaw Spirit hockey game, hosted a New Year's Eve party, did some shopping, played games, and just "hung out" with our Macs. Walsh and the cats made some progress in tolerating one another, and I even got the family photo for which I was hoping. I knew if we took the picture at church, the children would behave. ;)
