But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved). Ephesians 2:4-5

Nostalgia
As I logged in to write this post, my dashboard indicated that I've reached 1000 posts! Okay...so it took me almost four years, and even though most of my entries may not be memorable, the journey has been very rewarding for me. ;)
My phone went beep, beep, beep again this afternoon...this time it is was Tyler texting two pictures and the question "Where am I?" He must have been suffering from a slight case of nostalgia today. He had to go to McConnell Air Force base in Wichita this morning for a test, and he thought he would go through Hutchinson on the way back to Manhattan. Those of you Kansans know that route is not exactly "as the crow flies." The first picture is of our home for the first seven years of Ty's life. The other was probably his second favorite Hutchinson location...the Dairy Queen. Countless chicken strip baskets were eaten there...not to mention a few ice cream cones. Good memories!
