The annual River of Time in Bay City attracts historical reenactors who cover the time periods from the 1700s through the Vietnam War. Our friends David and Marilyn represent the 1750s Colonial period. As Marilyn said, they are good British subjects. We stopped by tonight just as they were preparing their supper of venison roast, potatoes and carrots, and a steamed apple raisin pudding. I admire all the effort that goes into this event, but I always come away being very thankful for modern conveniences...and fast food! ;)
