Human Magnets

I'm convinced that two of the four people in our family were not meant to drive vehicles. They are like magnets for car-related problems. If you didn't hear about the torrential rains in Louisville on Tuesday (over 6 inches of rain in one hour, plus another 6 inches), the video will explain why Ashlea's car motor is dead due to water in the engine. Joel, being the loving father that he is, drove Ty's car down to Louisville, so she will have transportation until her car is fixed...but not without a little difficulty. Before he left town, he took the Civic in for an oil change, and the service technician forgot to lower the support bar before shutting the hood. And Ty, who is cloistered in Alabama doing Air Force field training, has no idea that his car is in Louisville with a new dent. We'll have some 'splainin' to do on the 15th. Ashlea plans to take advantage of being in possession of her brother's car...the opportunity for orneriness is just too good to pass up. ;)
