Jodi, being a new bride, was anxious to do some entertaining in her home, so she invited three of us older women over for lunch today. It was a wonderful meal, and Jodi even had a little gift for each of us. We had a great time telling stories about our children, among other things. :) The group picture shows the tree mural she is painting around the perimeter of their bedroom. Jodi has creativity to spare...I wish I could harness some of it!
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved). Ephesians 2:4-5

what was Jodi's maiden name? Did she go to Bob Jones University and attend Grace Baptist Church in Greenville? She looks like a Jodi I knew years ago who did those things. That'd be so cool!
ReplyDeleteYes, she's the Jodi Greene you knew from BJU and Grace. Her mom (beside her) is a good friend of the church secretary. And her mom (Roxie) reads your blog. ;) It's a small world, after all!
ReplyDeleteCRAZY!!! I thought I recognized her from that picture! I also have a card addressed to her which I never sent. I meant to mail it right after she graduated...lol. Tell her hello for me! She may not remember me...or want to ...I was a rather gangly awkward kid at the time-- nothing like my poised collected mature self of today (HAH!).
