Have I ever mentioned that we have very peculiar cats? Beatrice has apparently become a proponent of strict adherence to the second commandment, as evidenced by her daily destruction of my nativity scene. The first picture shows how it should look; the second picture shows how it looks each day after Bea has done her duty. The trees are carried off to the far corners of the house, and the figurines are every which way. This morning "Baby Jesus" was overturned, and "Joseph" was completely out of the picture, having been knocked to the floor. Maybe it's become a game of sorts. If only we could understand the mind of a cat.
