We found out this morning that it's no simple matter to get a group picture of six women that is satisfactory to all. After at least eight takes, we settled on these two (the second features Marcia wearing her traditional Rudolph antlers, and yes she wore them all day). It's a bittersweet time for me. After the first of the year, Sharmin will go back to the Village, and I'll be moving to the mission in Bay City. As John said, that will be good for me in providing a shorter commute to work, but I won't have my "cohorts" around. He's right...we've shared a lot over the years, so I know I'll miss the daily interaction with these friends. Fortunately, I'll still be involved with some development functions, so trips to Saginaw will be in order. And I suspect that I might find myself looking for reasons to pop in. ; )
