I just completed my second year of blogging, and I still haven't recruited anyone to join the wonderful world of blogs...maybe this year. * Reading The Kite Runner, watching Northanger Abbey (Austen) and Martin Chuzzlewit (Dickens) all in the same day is a combination that causes very strange dreams. * Yesterday was "Blue Monday"...supposedly the saddest day of the year. If that's the case, this is going to be a happy year indeed. * The Kansas State men's basketball team is knocking at the door of the top 25 teams...how long has it been? * We're getting considerable snow this morning, and Joel was outside early (4:30 a.m) to use his snow blower...no grumbling at all. I think he secretly prays for snow now. ;) * These bitter cold days cause me to want to stay home and bake. Over the weekend, I made strawberry bread, pumpkin bread, and dark chocolate sheet cake...more stuff than even Tyler than keep up with...and I'm already thinking about what I can bake today...good thing for freezers.
