I was hoping to make it until I reached fifty before I needed glasses, but yesterday's eye exam confirmed my suspicion that I could use a little vision correction. My eyesight is still 20/25, but I've been having difficulty seeing things clearly from a distance...I'm nearsighted. The optometrist remarked that this is abnormal for people my age...should I be surprised? ;)

Hey, just be glad you weren't nearsighted back in the 5th grade! Though I think I would feel naked now without my glasses.
