A Whole New World

I remember Ashlea saying last year when she started learning Greek that learning another language opens up a whole new world. I didn't quite understand what she meant at the time, but now I do. I just had my first web page design class last night, and instead of just learning how to use a web page program, we're learning to design by code. In other words, we're learning the language of HTML (hyper text markup language). I already find it fascinating. Our instructor showed us how to view the code source of any web page, and I am anxious to become proficient enough to be able read the tags and understand the commands. In a sense, this will indeed open up a whole new world for me.

And speaking of Ashlea, she'll be home later today. Tomorrow is her 23rd birthday...already. It will be so wonderful to have her here for the weekend!
