I know this might be hard for some of you to believe, but, after twelve summers in Bay City, Joel and I finally took in the annual Pig Gig in Vets' Park. And had we not been given tickets, another summer would have passed without this experience. We walked around for awhile, making observations as to which rib vendors were attracting the most customers. Willingham's Ribs out of Memphis had a really long line, and they claimed to be Elvis' favorite (I'm sure Elvis could really pack away the ribs), so that settled it. We were not disappointed; in fact, they were down-right finger-lickin' good...literally. (I despise finger licking, but I had more of a sauce mess than my napkins could handle.) After we ate, we walked around the amusements until the cacophony took its toll on us...about fifteen minutes. We didn't leave though without picking up a free gift for Ty...a little soccer player doll with an England jersey. He'll be so excited (not)...even has his name on the tag. ;)
The part I can't believe is the 12 summers in Bay City.
