Pirates of Shear Lake

At the beginning of camp, Ty and another YAP (young adult program) asked the handcrafts YAP to design and paint this pirate flag, for they had something tricky up their swashbuckler shirt sleeves. With the permission of the camp staff, they make one pirate raid each week on some unsuspecting campers out for a leisurely staff-operated pontoon ride. Dressed in bandannas and eye patches, they quickly approach the boat in their sloop (aka small fishing boat with a motor), raise the pirate flag, and bombard the defenseless campers with water balloons and water guns. Once the ammo is depleted, they speed away, leaving the campers in a state of mild hysteria. They love it!
