Things that brought a smile or laugh to my face today:
~having to drive our "ghetto car" to work in the ghetto
~securing the entertainment for my volunteer appreciation event
~making retirement party plans over caramel fudge pecan cheesecake
~being dubbed the mission's paparazzi
~the song "Brick House" by the Commodores - you had to be there
~temperatures above freezing for the first time in about 4 weeks
~receiving an email from a long-distance friend
~roasted fresh asparagus (even if it was left-over from Saturday)
~new door knobs on all our interior doors - thank you Joel!
~a new back door purchased - yet to be installed
~Tom in the Box
~knowing I am blessed!
