Gadget Extravagance

I keep saying that what I really like about my part-time job are my days off. It's nice to have the time to get together for lunch with friends, runs errands, take naps...whatever the day brings. Today Roxie and I had lunch in downtown Midland, and I told her one of the things I wanted to do while in town was visit a kitchen store. I was on a mission. Well, there happened to be one right across the street, Peel 'n Pare, so we meandered over there. I can see why it's one of Roxie's favorite shops...so many options in kitchen gadgets. And now I am the proud owner of a creme brulee torch, so I can make the dessert the right way. I also thought of Joel, so I found a manly right-handed potato peeler (he says mine is left-handed). After all he does for me, it was the least I could do for him. ; )
