Ashlea left this morning to go home. That statement is a mental work in progress. Each visit to Michigan drives home the fact that she's just that...a visitor. It was a busy week, and each day held it's own memories. Joel and I are thankful for last evening's dinner out with Ashlea just to talk before we met up with Ty at his alumni basketball game - what a blast. (He's still hitting the threes!) Now the chore at hand is to return to normalcy. As Ty said this morning, this holiday has seemed surreal.
