I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to keep this blog layout, so here's a warning that it might change again. Marilyn asked me if I was bored and needed a change. That's really not the reason. I received an option to upgrade from Blogger to Beta Blogger, and in the process of completing the upgrade, I impulsively decided to change the look.
Late Saturday night (or was it early Sunday morning) when I should have been sleeping, it occurred to me that my ClustrMap didn't transfer with the upgrade. Then on Sunday, I discovered that I could no longer use Hello Picasa to post pictures! About that time I was wishing I could degrade, ungrade, downgrade...whatever to the old Blogger. I mentioned to Joel and Ty Sunday afternoon that I needed their help, but they were both preoccupied with their own interests, so I was left to search out the answers for myself. Some of you know that I absolutely abhor reading any kind of instruction manuals (with the exception of recipe books). I would rather clean the bathroom rather than have to muddle through instruction gobbledygook. And computer gobbledygook is the worst; I don't even understand what many of the terms mean. But I was determined to rectify the problems, so I ventured to the instruction sites and finally figured them out. When it comes to technological proficiency and our family, I am reminded of the Sesame Street song, "one of these things is not like the others, one of these things is not the same." I am that "one thing."
