It happened last night over a simple meal of fish sticks and fruit cocktail. No flowery words, just "Ashlea, I want to marry you." Ashlea, humored by the statement, gently explained to Zach that if they got married, they would have to wait a really long time...you see, Zach is only three years old. I'm sure he'll be happy just to continue to have Ashlea as a babysitter. As Tyler commented about the proposal, "at least it's a start." And we keep praying...
