Our weekend in Louisville was just wonderful. Ashlea was anxious for us to see her new apartment in a historic area of town. It suits her well, and she's done a nice job of decorating on a budget. The area is very conducive to leisurely walks so as to admire the architectural features of each home. The neighborhood reminded us of Savannah or Galveston. We all went to Pirates of the Caribbean on Friday night, but Tyler didn't tell Ashlea until after the movie that he had gone to the midnight showing; she was thoroughly disgusted with him. They went to the movie again on Saturday night with some of Ashlea's friends while Joel and I went to a blues and jazz festival near the river. After church on Sunday, we just grabbed some pizza and headed back to our motel so we could watch the final game of the World Cup. Ashlea and Tyler were rooting for France since Germany was eliminated, and they were disappointed the game ended in a shoot-out with France losing. I've posted a few pictures from the weekend below. Since we forgot our camera, Christina was kind enough to send some of hers.
