CRITTER UPDATE

Well, the moth balls failed to keep the critter out of the hole, and my hollyhocks plants continue to be the fare of choice. This evening I implored Joel to try something else, so he filled the hole with water just to see if anything would emerge. Sure enough, out scampered a woodchuck! All I could do was scream and hope it would be hit by oncoming traffic as it crossed the road. Didn't happen. We know the woodchuck will return, so we need to devise a plan C.
