CHILLIN' (in the true sense)

We awoke this morning to the dreaded sound of rainfall. I know some would welcome rain, but today was the City Rescue Mission's golf marathon at Bay Valley Resort, and Joel and I were scheduled to spend the entire day on the 600 acre golf course. The rain, the 50 degree temps, and the wind, made for a very chilly day. It was quite the challenge to drive the golf carts around the course, dodging large puddles and plowing through bogs. At one point Joel declared that I am a crazy woman driver because I cut off another cart heading the same direction. (I just wish they went faster!) Weather aside, it was a fun day, and the golfers did raise a good amount of money for the mission.
