Oswald's Bear Ranch

The female bears - how can we tell?  The males were all asleep.
Living dangerously - No more Froot Loops!

On our way home from Michigan's upper peninsula last week, we decided to stop by Oswald's Bear Ranch near Newberry.  A family at church recommended the tourist attraction, and we couldn't pass up the opportunity to have our picture taken with a real, live bear cub!  He knew how to hop up in the chair and sit so his belly would hold the Froot Loops - guess he's done it a few times. The Oswalds rescue black bear cubs and raise them into adulthood and have twenty-eight bears in all.
