But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved). Ephesians 2:4-5
Christina has recently updated her extensive list of books that stir the imagination, and I thought some of my readers would appreciate her recommendations. Happy reading!
I just read through the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan - in about a week. They are absolutely amazing! If you have ever studied Greek mythology, these books will be very entertaining. The books follow the story of Percy Jackson who, in the first book, discovers that he happens to be the son of Poseidon. Now every monster he can imagine is trying to kill him. The series is basically a modern retelling of the old myths with a new hero and are sometimes absolutely hilarious. Interestingly, all the demigods are dyslexic and have ADHD because they're hard-wired for ancient Greek and have super battle reflexes.
I would recommend the books for anyone from middle elementary school on up.
